Yes! I havnt always done it myself but I’ve learnt that it’s always better to be honest with a loved one even if you think that the worst thing to do is tell them the truth. Lies always have a way of hurting the person so much more than the actual truth would. Even if you don’t feel it at the time, the truth does set you both free. Everyone deserves the truth whether you think you’re doing the right thing or not. In the end lies, small or big, always end up biting you in the butt eventually; whether its tomorrow or seven years down the track.
